A Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Are Pros and Cons of Each
The best wireless keyboard doesn't just free you from a cord. They allow you to toss around your old crappy wireless keyboard you just got for your computer does anybody like this? The wireless keyboard and mouse combo is perfect for anyone who loves their computer and loves wireless connections. They are wireless and can be used anywhere there's a wireless router and even wireless printers. This means you can easily take your laptop on trips to the park and still be able to keep in touch. You can also use them at home and if you are like me you spend a lot of time working from home.
Logitech came out with some great products in recent years. There are keyboards with trackballs, mice with trackballs and just about any other type of input you could imagine. I have a Logitech Trackball Mouse and it is perfect for my needs. It has a nice smooth ball motion that makes typing easy. I can type all day without getting tired. The Logitech keyboard and mouse USB adapter fit right in any Logitech devices you own.
The Logitech keyboard combo is wireless and it comes with two wireless mice and a wireless USB wireless keyboard. The Logitech G1 keyboard has twenty-one different shortcut keys, which let me do a variety of functions such as jump page up, page down, go back, and go to the previous page. These buttons light up so you know they are the right ones to use for what you want to do. If you have an older computer, you may need a USB wireless mouse to use the software program interface on your computer. It is very simple to set up and the directions are pretty clear.
The Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse combo do not work with the Microsoft Windows operating system. It did not work for me at all. Maybe this is just a problem with my unit but the mouse seemed to work fine with the Logitech G1 but when I turned on the computer and used the mouse the wireless mouse did not work. It is working now but not as good as before. The battery is not a new model. The battery did not last very long for me.
Most of these wireless keyboard and mouse combos come with the Microsoft Windows operating system CD that is needing to use them. They do not come with the wireless USB adapter. You have to purchase this separately. Many of the cheaper combos have some kind of built in wireless adapter but I found that most of the cheaper combos do not. The best thing to do when trying to find one of these inexpensive units is to try to buy them second hand.
The Logitech G series is the most common keyboard/mouse combo out there. This wireless keyboard and mouse set is very comfortable and easy to use. The Logitech G series comes with an extra mouse for those times when you need to use both the mouse and the keyboard. This makes it very comfortable to use.
These two types of keyboards are the biggest sellers. I recommend these two above the rest. I don't like to save money on anything but the computer and I know that the two other keyboards and mice are good too but I will save a few dollars here and there for these two because they are the biggest sellers. Just keep in mind that there are pros and cons to each one of these sets.
The wireless keyboard with the mechanical keyboard has a rechargeable battery. This gives you the option of keeping the battery fully charged so that you do not have to constantly re-plug the keyboard into the USB port. With the rechargeable batteries you can also decide to let the batteries die out on their own and then recharge them. With a mechanical keyboard you do not get this option. I find the battery to be more comfortable and the clicky keys to be much better for my hand.
